The Easter Bunny delivered his baskets and is probably long gone! But think we should ride anyway, since the weather forecast for several days next week doesn’t look great. Maybe we’ll see some other bunnies!

Ride starts at the Oakdale Nature Preserve at 12:30 p.m. I know that’s Easter dinner time for a lot of you, but there’s a chance of rain late afternoon. 

The Discovery Center building won’t be open but there are a couple portable toilets there. Our rest stop is at the Holiday station on Manning/Stillwater Way at 9.6 miles. They should have cookies! 

Since there’s a 10-12 mph WNW wind, we’ll head east through Demontreville, the Sanctuary neighborhood and Liberty Ridge, and then slightly north to jump on the Brown’s Creek/Gateway Trails for a little shelter from the west wind on our way home. 

The route is loaded for you to print, download or pin to your phone. I plan to ride at a B/C pace and average around 13ish mph at the end. Faster or slower self-sufficient riders are encouraged to ride at their preferred pace.
