Cup & Cone is open in White Bear Lake! And it looks like a warm enough day for ice cream. We’ll leave from the wind turbine at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Not sure if bathrooms will be open at the trailhead, but there’s a Holiday station just east up on Margaret so come early, ride up there if you need to.
The Flavor of the Day is Raspberry and Dairy Free is Lemon.
There’s a brief rest stop at Tamarack Nature Center at 11.2 miles before heading south with a little longer rest stop at either Cup & Cone or Caribou at 16.7 miles. If you don’t feel like stopping, it’s an easy-to-follow 8.4 miles home.
Route is loaded for you to print, download or pin to your phone. B/C pace to average somewhere in the 12.5-13 mph range at the end. Faster riders always welcome to ride off ahead.
Susan’s doing a copycat C ride if you’d like to do a little more leisurely ride with her.
Any questions, comments about the ride or if the weather forecast is wrong, check the usual places or don’t hesitate to call or text me at 612 381 6711.
