This is the beautiful Cannon River Valley Trail from the trailhead in Cannon Falls to downtown Red Wing. We'll stop at a grocery store, buy lunch, and picnic next to the river in a park near the train station in Red Wing. If you don't want to do out and back the entire 44 miles, consider joining us at the Welch station trailhead:  be there by 10:30 a.m. and let the ride leader know to expect you.  This is a great all trail ride (except for picking up lunch) on a beautiful trail.  A yearly pass or a day pass ($5) is required. Bring $5 to purchase a pass at the trailhead.   There's a port-a-pottie in Cannon Falls and vault toilets and water at Welch, where we will take a water break.
