This ride features many beautiful views along Lake Minnetonka and surrounding residential areas.  Many roads are low traffic with shoulders and also city streets.  This route is a modified "shorter" version of the original 37 mile Expresso due to constuction going on during Summertime.  The first 15 miles have a number of rolling hills and a couple short but taxing climbs.  The route smoothes out somewhat after that but it is still mixed terrain. The rest stop is in Excelsior at the Red Bench Bakery or possibly Dunn Bros. Coffee.  Please pre-register for the ride and arrive early as the "ride briefing" will begin 5 minutes prior to the start time.  This is a brisk B Ride and the average speed by the end of the ride will be around 15 miles per hour.  Ride leader position will vary within the group.  Sometimes 2 groups will form depending on speed.  Riders are encouraged to regroup after the steeper climbs.  Download the ride URL to your bike computer but if needed, cue sheets will be available.  After the ride, enjoy a refreshment and/or food at Scoreboard Bar & Grill.  YoYo Donuts have some great treats and coffee.

Parking:  Sundial Center 5757 Sanibel Drive, Minnetonka, MN.  Please park on the far side of the lot away from the businesses. (More toward Shady Oak Rd)

Start & Rest Stop: Restrooms are available at the ride start at YoYo donuts or Scoreboard Bar & Grill at 11am.  At the rest stop...The Red Bench Bakery has restrooms but you will need to ask for a code to get into them.  Please purchase something there.  It is Deeelicious!!
