Not an April Fool’s joke … thinking one more ride before the weather turns ugly. Start at 11:30 a.m. from the Oakdale Nature Preserve with bathrooms and water in the Discovery Center building.
Definitely won’t be 70 degrees and supposed to be about a 10 mph east wind. Even though not great, just hoping it stays that way for my planned tailwind on the way home! We’ll use the Gateway/Brown’s Creek Trails for a little shelter all the way to Neal. Then jump off, head south and east with a stop at the Liberty Ridge KwikTrip at 13 miles.
Use the trail on the east side of Manning, go across the Hwy 36 bridge and use the short trail sections in the Sanctuary neighborhood with the big rocks and bumps out to Stillwater Road. From there, 50th, Demontreville and back to Oakdale, hopefully with that nice tailwind!
Route is here to print, download or pin to your phone. B/C pace to average around 13ish mph. Lori’s co-leading so if a larger group and faster riders, we could split and she’d take a B speed group. Or you can certainly ride at your preferred pace without us.
