Okay, I got it! Some different stuff, some same stuff. Start at 12:30 p.m. at the Lakewood Hills Park on Orchard Lane off White Bear Avenue. Look for the sign for the Y, then go past the Y, and take the second driveway into Lakewood Hills Park. I think there’s a sign there that also says White Bear Arena.
Unfortunately, the bathrooms in the pavilion don’t open until April 15th, weather permitting. No heat, so they can’t risk opening and the pipes freezing. So please plan ahead and stop at a gas station along the way.
Rest stop is at Tamarack Nature Center at 11.4 miles. No food there, so bring a snack if you need one.
The different stuff is I do a loop on the nice, paved trail around Lakewood Hills Park before we head out. I also sneak through the secret little neighborhood of Hillary Farms on a cool loop before starting our trip home.
Route is fairly flat with no huge hills. Sorry, I know you’re disappointed!
The route is loaded for you to print, download or pin to your phone. I plan to ride at a B/C pace and average around 13ish mph at the end. Faster or slower self-sufficient riders are encouraged to ride at their preferred pace.
If rain or anything else unpleasant, ride could be delayed or canceled. Please check the usual places or don’t hesitate to call or text me at 612 381 6711.
