Meet the group in the parking lot by the stairs down to the beach.
There are no restrooms for the winter season, instead use a service station or restaurant along the way before driving to the starting parking lot.

There is a little of everything, starting on tar trail, then firm-pack gravel trail, some well-trod grassland, and a couple of small lakes.
There are a few very steep hill climbs, we will regroup at the top of each hill.

The frost is in/out of the ground, so it could be muddy or slippery in spots.
We will be wearing hiking boots (not tennies) and walking/hiking at a casual/relaxed "C" pace to keep the group together.  
May want to bring walking/hiking poles especially for the hills.

Pets are allowed if kept on a non-retractable 6-foot leash, and owners must clean up after their pets.
