This ride is a variation on John Ford's Park to Park ride. This will be a relaxed B/C pace ride and I will be leading the group from the front, employing a no-drop strategy, regrouping at stoplights and so forth. I can help with most simple bike-related issues, like flat tires or dropped chains.

Look for my Black Honda CRV at the Coon Rapids Dam West parking lot (to get there, take highway 610 to Noble Pkwy; go north to 97th Ave; then east to Russell Ave; then north to the park's entrance (Russell Ave becomes W River Rd)).

We'll start out going south on the bike trail along West River Road, eventually moving to the road. We'll continue south to 73rd Ave, then head east on bike trails to Regent Ave and north to the Rush Creek bike trail, then west to Elm Creek Park. We'll go around the park to the north side, where we'll head east into Champlin via Hayden Lake Rd, to West River Road, and then head back south to the ride start. Rest break at Elm Creek Park Chalet, just past the midway point in the ride.
