This is a pleasant short-ish ride of 18 miles north to White Bear, east through Mahtomedi, and back to the start. Rain will cancel the ride. It should be cool and won't be getting warmer. Dress accordingly.
All indications are that the restrooms at the Park are still open. Lakewood Hills Park is at 2110 Orchard Lane, White Bear Lake -- there is a divided lane entrance/exit just past a parking lot entrance for the YMCA building. Look for a small sign for Lakewood Hills Park on the sourth side of Orchard as you go past the YMCA. (2150 Orchard Lane is closer to the park entrance.) From I-694, go north on White Bear Avenue, then turn right on Orchard Lane and continue about 0.3 miles to just past the YMCA.
We will ride at a pleasant C pace. Faster riders are welcome to go on ahead.
Contact Miriam at 651 212 0775 with any questions.
This is a mapless 20-30 mile ride.
Ride leaders will be at the front and rear. This is a no drop ride - everyone stays together.
The ride is mostly flat. Some very easy climbs on the trails of Champlin, Anoka, Coon Rapids and Brooklyn Park. This is a group touring ride of a social nature.
Riders will maintain a 10 - 12 mph pace. There will be a mid-ride break, usually at McDonalds or Burger King. After the ride a stop at Hudys is your option.
The ride starts from Trailhead Cycle in Champlin. Park on the streetside in front of Trailhead. Restrooms and waer are available at Trailhead.
This ride is cancelled only for extreme weather conditions and notifications will be made on the TCBC site board if the ride weather is bad. Usually we come and if the weather is too bad we eat breakfast together at Hudys.
This is a 30-mile B/C level ride with speeds averaging 13mph, perhaps faster depending on rider ability. Faster on roads and slower on trails. Restrooms at start, at Oak Grove Park at the 9.5 mile mark, and the official rest stop at McDonalds at the 17.5 mile mark.
Note, we meet at the second (newer and larger) parking lot off of Hanson Blvd from Hwy 10/47, not the little lot you come to first if coming from 10/47.
This is a social B ride with the leader averaging about 14-15 MPH over the course of the route. We'll meet at the Groveland Tap and ride on a mix of bike trails and urban streets. This week's route includes Summit Avenue, Lilydale Road, the Big Rivers Trail, Lake Nokomis, West River Road, the Dinkytown Greenway, and East River Road. Rest stop at Minnehaha Falls, which has restrooms and water. Please bring a snack if you'd like somewthing to eat during the ride. The route should be pretty well protected from the west wind predicted for Wednesday, with most of the west-bound portion of the route being on Lilydale Road and on 54th Street in Minneapolis..
Parking is available on neighborhood streets near the Groveland Tap. Please don't park in the Groveland Tap's lot. Restrooms available at the ride start.
Opportunities to socialize after the ride over a beverage and appetizers at the Groveland Tap. Discounts on drinks and appetizers during happy hour, 3:00 - 5:30 PM Sunday - Thursday. No outdoor seating at Groveland Tap, so I recommend bringing a bike lock if you plan to ride to the ride and stay afterwards. Seating is usually available with a good view of the bike rack, which is outside the front of the Groveland Tap.
Meet at Angel Food (donuts, coffee, water and restrooms) in St Louis Park.
Same shopping center as Erik's, just a few doors down, along with wonderful outdoor seating area with tables and chairs.
WIll never repeat the same route twice. There's so much to see and so much to do!
This is a ride for adventure and exploring, not for beating the clock or getting a Strava Personal Best!
I will lead this ride at a B pace, from the front of the group, with an occaisional "All Here?!" query and response, to ensure group togetherness.
25 miles total, with a rest stop at Robbinsdale McDonalds at about half way into the ride.
Ride on!
Please park at the south (furthest) end of the lot.
Route is same as last week but starts 15 minutes earlier. Bring lights also in case of a mechanical.
Join your compadres on a route around Bald Eagle Lake along gently rolling roads, most of which have good shoulders or are low traffic. There will be a 'no pass the leader' warmup for the first few miles. There are usually a few groups that form at A/B as well as A and B levels. All self-sufficient riders welcome. Post-ride refueling at a local establishment. Andele! Andele! Epa! Epa! Yeehah!!
Please pre-register for the ride, which will be available until ride start time. It makes it easier for the ride leaders and ensures you get ride notifications and mileage credit :)
Be sure to download the route onto your GPS bike computer or print a map and cue sheet. No maps will be available at the ride start.
You must be a TCBC member to ride, unless this is your first ride with the club in which case you can pre-register as a guest.
Join Faith and coleader for a relaxed C ride around the streets of Minneapolis and St Paul.

I won't be leading the rest of the year. I tore 2 rotator cuffs and they need surgery.
Jim and Katie Angle, Edward Eroe-10/5/23, Linda Johnson and Bob Mackie have graciously offered to share leading the ride the rest of the year,
So the ride could be led by anyone of them. so the ride is in good hands.
The following is the NEW ALTERNATIVE ROUTE THAT DOES NOT STOP AT DUNN BROTHERS: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/44261901
It is 45 miles long and avoids one of the difficult crossings of I35 and several other minor changes.
There is a 29 mile route link: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/43658285
And a 45 mile route option: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/44261901
This classic ride is rather flat, smooth, scenic, with miles between most stops.
NO 37 mile route due to impending road consturction. the 45 mile route will use Rondeau Lake as a detour.
There are several places to stop along each of the routes.
There are Restrooms at ride start and along the way
Several excellent places to eat after the ride.
An excellent cue sheet and map will help self-sufficient faster and slower riders find their way.

Questions call the ride leader.
Mostly on county roads, with some trails.
Easy miles generally, depending on the wind.
FYI - As your leader, I will be riding at B-Pace and may ride any of the routes. Many riders will be averaging 15MPH or more, but I always strive to add another leader for the faster paced riders.
Please note: Although I don't make a practice of canceling, this ride may be canceled for cold, rain, snow or extremely wet roads. I do ride in cold (down to 40F), but not on icy or snowy roads. If in doubt about cancellation, please contact leader.
This is a variation of several other rides with some less traveled trails and roads that I've done last year. Ride starts at Lions Park, Coon Rapids (off of Hwy 10 and Hanson Blvd). We'll be at the new lot just NE of the smaller lot. Ride will average 13mph or faster depending on rider ability, but this is a no-drop ride with riders staying together, so speed will be at the comfort level of the slowest rider (hopefully around 13mph average). Portable toilets at ride start and along the route. Rest stop at 2/3 through route at McDonalds plus a halfway stop for wardrobe change etc.
