Nice route on a beautiful day; even the wind cooperated. Thanks for all your work on the solo routes Johnny. You helped me stay sane during this time.
Thanks for putting this ride in, Mary!
quite a bit of broken glass on County C just east of White Bear Ave. Great to run into Kent and Jessica last night while riding...we will miss SOLO rides! Thanks Mary for having this ride every week!
Thanks for posting until the bitter end, Mary! Edward & I enjoyed riding this with Pho Scramble: https://ridewithgps.com/trips/66374394?privacy_code=hQIbePq80b73Jgch
Sad that this was my last Whole Enchilada Self Directed Rides (SDR). Hopefully, we can bring these back! Thanks for being a SDR Leader!
My last Pho Scramble TCBC Self Directed ride (SDR)! Sad but hopefully we can bring them back. Glad I could ride with you. Keep the faith!
Thanks for posting/leading this ride! It has been great to have this ride option. Thank you, Shelby
Thanks for posting/leading this ride. It's been great to have this option!
Great weather. Glad I could finally get this ride done!
Thanks for posting great solo rides to the bitter end, Johnny!
Thanks.
It was a beautiful, sunny April day to ride this route. Thanks Pete!
Great route!
This is still one of my favorite routes and a fitting one for my last TCBC Solo ride. Thanks Glen.
Thanks Johnny.
Enjoyable route as always. Ride completed on April 29, 2021.
A cooler day than yesterday, but beautiful none the less. My 'last' TCBC SOLO Ride! Ride completed April 30, 2021.
My favorite solo urban ride. Thank you Johnny. I'm going to miss it every Monday.
I like the changes from last summer's route! Nine-mile trail was passable (about a tire-width of dry pavement) but thanks for having the alternative route!
Fabulous route, Linda! Thanks for putting it in!
It was cold, cloudy and a little windy in the morning but the sun came out at the end of my ride. Thanks Scott!
Sign on County F that road is closed starting May 1. Not clear if will be passable or not. Thanks as always for having this ride!
Thanks! Great route.
It was cold, cloudy and a little windy in the morning but the sun came out at the end of my ride. Thanks Mary!
Thanks for posting/leading this ride!
The "right turn on Stevens" at 11.3 got me! Of course, I kept going on Stevens and ended up on the wrong side for a while. Unfortunate result of the Garmin Edge 1030

Thanks for posting/leading this ride!
It was cloudy and cool but I enjoyed the route. Thanks Pete!
Great to ride with you even though it wasn’t 70!
Thanks for the route. Wish there was another option of around 28-30 miles, but overall happy. I'm really really really bummed that they are dropping SOLO rides, since it's just narrowing the appear of a bike club, especially since many of the members won't be vaccinated yet either.

It cold and windy with a few flurries. No issues to report.
Nice urban loop. A little busy by Lake Harriet in the afternoon.
It was a beautiful day for a ride. The only issue was 3-4 inches of water on the Nine Mile Creek Trail at mile 27.5
One of my favorite TCBC Self-Directed Rides! Sad that we will not have these anymore. We must find a way to bring them back. Oh, there is gravel on the road that goes down to the Minnesota River by Cedar Drive. I was not sure why it was there and only seemed to be intermittently on the right side of the lane. It looks like it was put there on purpose.
The Mississippi River is rising to flood stage and will soon inundate the old Mississippi River Gorge Trail. The flood detour it to ride on East River Parkway.
I meant to do a longer ride, but after Ayd Mill I wasn't feeling very well because of vaccine and cut across to river road to complete. Thank you Johnny!
Also shown on Strava.
I actually started in Highland Park by SPA school by my home and then road to Como Park and back home.
No issues to report. Thanks Scott!
No issues to report. Thanks Mary!
Thanks Johnny
Pete, I just completed the ride. Great route. Thanks Tom
Great route. Thanks Tim!
Great ride. Thanks!
Nice way to connect Como Park to Lake Nakomis! Thanks.
It was cool and wet, but I had a great ride. Thanks Mary!
Turkeys in 3 different areas on the ride! Thanks for always having this ride available!
The only issue is a little water on the Nine Mile Creek trail below the school. It's only about 1 inch deep and wasn't a problem to ride through.
Thanks, Johnny.
Pete. Could you make a couple of changes on the cue sheet. When we turn on to the Marshal Ave bridge we should get rid of the left hand turn to the river road. Instead we should take a right at the end of the bridge the a right on to the river road
the other correction should be after we cross the bridge by the Veterans Home, it should be take a left onto Minnehaha Dr then cross Hwy 55 to 54th st
Nice route. Thanks Pete!
No bloomington bluffs this week. I'm going to give the nine mile a chance to dry out .
Thanks Johnny for connecting all these trails.
Sweet route on a very nice day!
It rained for the entire ride, but I enjoyed the deserted trails. Thanks Tim!
Nice to ride with the Pho Kahn!
Great route!
Mary, thanks for having these rides!
Ride completed 4/11/2021 with Kent Furois for 19. Thanks Scott!
It was cool and wet, but I had a great ride. Thanks Scott!
Believe it or not, I did the ride between 5:00 & 7:00 PM. tonight (Tues.) When I started, the roads were basically dry. but it started to snow in my face on Woodhill. But when I turned south on Hamline, it was a crosswind and didn't bother me.
Mary, thanks for having this ride every week! I really enjoy it!
Great route to sneak in when life is crazy!
It was a beautiful April day, with light winds and 79 degrees with sunny skies. The only issue to report is about 2 inches of water on the Nine Mile Creek Trail at mile 27.5 on the 51- and 58-mile routes.
I like the changes you made going down the Minnesota Greeway Trail and going further on the Nine Mile Trail. I do miss the Old Cedar Bridge but not the other bridge to get there! Thanks for adding on the long-distance route as it goes right by where I live in the North Loop and with a few more kilometers can get in a metric century!
Nasty wind coming back this afternoon but we survived. Missing one cue to turn left on Harriet at about mile 17? But since we had done the 43 we kind of remembered. Thanks again Johnny.
I did a double dipper today doing both the Bloomington Bluffs for a total of 102 miles. Thanks Johnny. You are the master trail scheduler.
Ride completed 4/10/21 with Kent Furois. Thanks Johnny!
Ride mileage really should be 31, but nice route...
Great route, perfect day. Thanks! There's some utility work or something going on on Excelsior just before the finish - no problem, but single lanes, no shoulders, etc.
A beautiful day for riding through interesting neighborhoods. Saw a Tom turkey strutting.
Thanks Pete for the SLP ride!!
It was a really enjoyable day for a ride, even with the few sprinkles. This route is so much fun to ride. Thanks Pete!
No issues to report
Very scenic and enjoyable. Thanks!
Great route. Thanks.
LOVE the classic 24 route. Don't change a thing. Thanks, Johnny!
Thanks, 80+ degrees!
Love this route!
I liked the route a lot!
This is a great route! Thank you!
A very nice route and the wind cooperated too!
Ride completed Apr 3, 2021 w Kent Furois. Route was clean, thank you!
It was much more comfortable riding today with a little cooler temperatures and light winds. The route was enjoyable and no issues to report. Thanks Mary!
Like the starting/end point on Victoria as it seems to have much less traffic.
Ride completed 4/5/2021 with Kent Furois for 17. Beautiful eve, awesome early April ride! Thank you!!
It was much more comfortable riding today with a little cooler temperatures and light winds. The route was enjoyable and no issues to report. Thanks Scott!
No issues to report except for some tree trimming on the Robert Piram trail.
Fabulous route! Birdlife in all the wooded areas was astonishing. Good news was I had my binoculars along. Accordingly, my pace as a result was nothing to write home about. It's hard to do a bird 'n' bike and be highly effective at both. Nevertheless, pure delight along the way culminating in an Eagle Show of at least half a dozen on the wing on doing aerial performances over the river - soaring, dropping, hunting - and one parent on a nest. Thank you!
The ride is listed in the calendar as 30 miles but the actual route is 38.
This is a very nice route and it worked well for the windy conditions. Thanks Mr. Bikey!
Mike, I cut off at Medicine Lake to go back downtown, so I only counted from the start to where I turned off the route. 19 miles for the route and 35 miles for my total for my ride to the start and where I cut off. My Ride with GPS Link: https://ridewithgps.com/trips/64820275?privacy_code=XeJDzwHXDslMsd5I Nice route as I went to some places I have not been before. Thanks!
Great route!
Thanks, Mike.
The only issue is Blake Road is closed to through traffic at Vernon Ave, but it’s open to local traffic. I consider bikes “local traffic” so it shouldn’t be a problem.
Nice route; super windy today. Fortunately it was at my back on the way home.
Nice route with no issues to report. Thanks Linda!
Nice route. I missed the turn from the Gateway Trail to Heath, but just turned south on Hadley. Gave me about 0.7 extra miles. Nice day. Wind was a bit stronger than expected, but it was a tailwind most of the way back.
A nice route on some roads I hadn’t ridden before including a tour of Nicollet Island. Plus a tailwind on my way back! Thanks Glen!
It was a fun and interesting route. No issues to report. Thanks Glen!
